With the Android application StarMoney, users can manage their banking operations on smartphones and tablets. The financial administration app is now free of charge – but the conversion of the licensing model does not delight anyone.
The Android version of the StarMoney app is now available free of charge and all functions of the financial administration are now unlocked. The Banking app allow users to check their accounts or conduct mobile transfers. Graphical evaluations also visualize payment flows. The financial status, cash deposits, and debits can be viewed.
When it comes to money, the StarMoney app keeps an overview. It is now available free of charge.
In order to use the full functionality of the app, an update to version 3.2.0 is necessary. The StarMoney app for iOS is also to be free in the second quarter of the year.
Previously, the cost of this Android app was just 4 euros. After the conversion of the license model, previous app buyers on Google Play criticize that they are now seeing advertisements. “I paid for the app, I paid real money to get the premium app, and I do not want to see any advertising,” writes a user. Another complains: “Unfortunately, the update for former payers has developed negative environment.”
App for free, comfort functions payable
In order to use StarMoney across platforms, a paid subscription is required. The app then synchronizes with the desktop and Web version of StarMoney. Sales and other data are stored in the cloud, which also serves as a backup. The StarMoney Flat costs 5.49 euros per month and has no minimum contract term. Producers of StarFinance promises the subscriber “more comfort functions,” which are to follow in the coming months.
